The Permaculture Workshop being organized by Firefly Life Sciences will be conducted by world-class Permaculture Designer Mr. Mark Garrett. With a long line-up of hands-on tutorials on each of the design aspects of a Permaculture ecosystem, the workshop has been specifically designed for Coffee and Pepper as the predominant crops. The particular geographical attributes of Coorg that determine the economic productivity of the region have been taken into consideration. The workshop line-up includes Permaculture solutions such as Soil Growing Techniques, Long, Medium and Short term Nitrogen Fixing Techniques, Productive Hedge Systems, Water Conservation Techniques and Natural Pest and Disease Management Solutions. The workshops will explore new strategies and techniques that will benefit all types of farmers and farming systems, right from conventional growers to Permaculturists, Organic growers, Biodynamic agriculturists and Traditional & Local farming experts.
